Kurnia Effendi

He was born in Tegal, Central Java, 20 October 1960. He finished his study at Interior Design Program, Faculty of Visual Art, ITB, in 1991. In November 1996, he was invited by the Jakarta Art Council as a poet for the “Mimbar Penyair Abad 21” event.

He often presents in literary events such as Pertemuan Sastrawan Nusantara (1997), Panggung Cerpen Indonesia Mutakhir (TUK, 2003), Temu Sastra Kota (DKJ, 2003), Biennale Festival Sastra Internasional (TUK, 2005), Mitra Praja Utama (Disbudpar, 2009), Ubud Writers and Readers Festival (2010), Bali Emerging Writers Festival (2011), Temu Sastra Indonesia-Malaysia (2015).
